Zoë and Alex’s wedding day was one for the books, with so many incredible DIY details, that we were left in complete awe. From the jaw-dropping beaded wedding dress, altered by Zoë’s mother, to the boutonnieres and bouquets created from scratch just before the wedding, to the place cards and table settings that took hours to create, the beauty of the day was just overwhelming. And I was moved to tears with the reading of Captain Corelli’s Mandolin during the ceremony, because of its truth. “Love is a temporary madness, it erupts like volcanoes and then subsides. Love itself is what is left over when being in love has burned away, and this is both an art and a fortunate accident.” I couldn’t be happier that these two chose me to document their wedding day.
Zoë and Alex, I wish you both fantastic adventures in your lives together.
